Over the course of my professional career I have spent 20 years working in the private sector and 15 working in government at the county, state and federal levels. Before forming my consulting firm, I served as press secretary and senior advisor to Joseph M. Hoeffel for the three terms he served in the U.S. House of Representatives.

My experiences at all levels of government have taught me well. I know how government should work and the way it should serve the people. I want to take the good characteristics of the hundreds of elected officials I’ve worked with and observed over the years to try to make a difference in Harrisburg.

I am not so naïve to believe that one member of a large organization like the General Assembly can single-handedly change the way it operates, but I am idealistic enough to want to roll up my sleeves, work with both Republicans and Democrats and give my best effort to make a difference.

When I am elected as your representative, I will go to Harrisburg and fight for what you need. My priorities are making sure everyone has health insurance; making sure everyone can have an affordable college education, making sure we put a full effort into finding real alternative energy sources and most of all, making sure that the people of Pennsylvania are confident in the integrity of their government.

It will not be easy to make these changes in Harrisburg, but I am ready for the job. Our best hope for making a difference is through working together.
